Having played softball my entire life I learned how to push my body to the limits in pursuit of a goal. I learned to love fitness and the benefits that come with it. As a former athlete I know how to put everything into a workout but I also what it’s like to struggle with injuries from poor training or overuse. My goal with my training clients is to combine intense work with structured, controlled mobility that enables clients to do what they love to do while reducing discomfort.
From early childhood I have loved giving massages to my friends and family. Two years into training I pursued my massage therapy license with an emphasis in Sport Massage to add an extra level of support to provide to my clients searching for full body wellness. In this ever changing industry I strive to learn as much as I can to help my clients perform high quality movements that are suited to their goals. I would hope that my clients learn to distinguish, as I did, the difference between good muscle discomfort that burns but ads to the quality of life from dysfunctional joint and muscle pain that aches and increases pain in everyday life.
My personal experiences and years of studying anatomy and kinesiology have led me to a place where I feel passionately about combining massage therapy with personal training to allow my clients to train their bodies to their limit while maintaining focus on creating pain free mobility in everyday life. My goal is to change how the public perceives massage and training by showing the overwhelming benefits they can provide in cultivating a healthy, fit lifestyle.
